2026 Q2 Update

Dear Menlo Church,
This is one of the most connected regions on earth and one of the loneliest at the same time. We build products used by billions around the world and struggle to know our next-door neighbors. We optimize everything except what actually matters. I think about that a lot. Because the church isn't supposed to be another thing you consume. It's supposed to be the place you belong.
That's what we're trying to be.
The "Hope for Everyone" initiative is our way of putting that conviction into practice. We're about halfway through this three-year journey together, and what I see when I look around is a church that's actually becoming what it said it wanted to be. Key investments at campuses are underway, programs are impacting communities and partnerships throughout the Bay Area, growing every day.
This past month, I've watched that vision take shape in tangible ways. Generosity that reflects genuine trust in what God is doing here. The rest of this update gives you the specifics, and they're worth reading. Not as details to diagnose, but as evidence that the Spirit is moving.
We're not improving buildings. We're building bridges to people who need hope. And we're only able to do it because you're in this with us.
Pray with me. Pray that our open doors lead people all the way into the arms of Christ. Pray for our staff and volunteers who carry this work every day. Pray that every resource we steward becomes a sign of grace to someone who needed it.
The best is still ahead.
Phil
