Thomas Wasn't Wrong

Thomas isn’t rebuked for asking for evidence—he’s invited to touch resurrection. In a culture suspicious of institutions and quick to cancel, we learn from Thomas that intimacy with Jesus grows when we bring our real selves, not our curated selves. Our spiritual formation only comes by facing our frustrations. Thomas might have been the only one to express his doubts, but he certainly wasn’t the only one who had them, and because he shared them, he was the only one Jesus invited to take a closer look.
